Towergate Bakers, previously known as Bakers of Cheltenham, are one of the
leading providers of residential Park Home insurance and were in fact
responsible for developing the very first policy specifically designed for
Park Homes, or Mobile Homes as they were known, in 1970 - some 37 years ago
!
We currently insure more than 20000 park homes throughout the length and
breadth of England, Scotland and Wales and take a very active role within
the Park Home industry. We sponsor the 'Park of the Year' competition in
association with Park Home & Holiday Caravan magazine, this is designed to
recognise and reward excellence in the quality and management of residential
parks in the UK. We sponsor one of the leading national park home residents'
associations, namely the Independent Park Home Advisory Service (IPHAS), and
indeed offer a 10% discount to any park homeowner who is a member of any of
the national associations. We are members of The Guild of Park Home Services
and the National Park Homes Council and we are authorised and regulated by
the Financial Services Authority.
Our policy provides cover on a replacement as new basis and includes the
costs of site clearance, re-siting and delivery fees. It provides wide
ranging cover which can be viewed in full on our web site where it is also
possible to obtain a quotation and to buy insurance on-line. The policy also
includes a 24-hour Homecare Emergency Assistance Service which covers the
first £250 of any charge incurred for the call out and emergency repairs.
As well as producing a quarterly 'Park Home News & Views' newsletter
Towergate Bakers send every claimant a claims satisfaction survey which
provides us with excellent feed back about our claims service. We believe
that whilst the cost of insurance is an important consideration, of greater
importance ultimately is the way in which claims are handled. We are
therefore delighted that more than 95% of respondents rate our service as '
Excellent'.
As well as arranging insurance for Park Homes we also offer insurance for
Leisure Homes and Lodges, Static Holiday Caravans, Touring Caravans and
Motorhomes.
